I'm a mom raising two kids, and this is where I download my thoughts and feelings.

My oldest son, Evan, is adopted, African American and has been diagnosed with ADHD, anxiety and sensory processing disorder. My youngest son, Tyler, is as fair as they come and has been diagnosed with nothing other than a pension to bother his older brother. My husband is Caucasian and I'm bi-racial Caucasian and Asian. We're quite the multi-cultural household.

In my spare time, I've been working on writing a screenplay. It won't be finished anytime soon (see comment regarding "spare time"). It is a wonderful escape from my otherwise relatively stressful existence.

I also love to make jewelry, play the piano, read the paper, knit, and decorate our home. But considering my lack of spare time screenwriting, all these lovely activities have not been touched for months, and some years.

You'll notice space on this site dedicated to the Total Transformation by James Lehman. This program has helped me immensely. I have put a few reviews of the program on the site to help others figure out if the program is right for them.

This blog is part therapy, part record-keeping. I use it to exercise my writing chops, very little of which get exposed here. This is a journal, after all.
